Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace and Al-Shabab Football Club (Saudi Arabia) have reached an agreement for the transfer of Habib Diallo (28). The Senegalese striker has played 103 games in all competitions over three seasons for Strasbourg, and has scored 41 goals, including 20 last season.
Since joining from FC Metz in October 2020, Habib has left his mark on the history of the club. A regular and consistently improving scorer (nine goals in 2020/21, 12 in 2021/2022, 20 in 2022/23), the Senegalese international has become the first Strasbourg player to reach the level of 20 goals in a Ligue 1 season since Albert Gemmrich in 1977-1978 (21).
Crowned player of the month twice last year but also voted runner-up in player of the season (behind Matz Sels), Habib Diallo has helped Strasbourg to sustain itself in the top flight. His great performances in Alsace also saw him win the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal.
