Women’s D2: Roseline Eloissaint joins Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace

Haitian international Roseline Eloissaint (24 years old), who participated in the Women’s World Cup, has signed with Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace.

Born on February 20, 1999, Roseline Eloissaint is a young forward who is already familiar with D2 Féminine. She was developed in her homeland at AS Tigresses before moving to Canada in 2019, where she first played for AS Blainville and then for Citadins de l’UQAM. In January 2020, she moved to France and joined FC Nantes in D2F. In three and a half seasons, she played 53 matches and scored 9 goals.

“Roseline is a fast and powerful player,” explains Vincent Nogueira, coach of the women’s team. “She will be able to bring us all her qualities, especially in the attacking aspect. She knows the D2 Féminine league very well, as she has been playing in France for several seasons. She still has room for improvement, and her international experience will help elevate her level and, consequently, that of the team.

After participating in the Women’s U20 World Cup in France with the Haitian U20 national team, she joined the senior Haiti women’s team, earning 11 caps (5 goals). She also participated in the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where Haiti was eliminated in the group stage.
