Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace and Vincent Nogueira have reached an agreement to extend his contract for an additional two seasons. The manager of the club’s women’s team, who currently compete in Division 2 Féminine, is now tied to the club through 2026.
In charge of Strasbourg women’s team since its promotion to 2nd division, Vincent Nogueira is happy with the agreement reached with the club: “I am delighted with this extension and the confidence shown me by the club. I am very happy to be part of the progression of the women’s team which continues to grow year after year. I am fully fulfilled in my job as a coach, I want to continue to progress in this direction and it is great to be able to do it at this great club that is Strasbourg.”
Author of a remarkable season to date, the Strasbourg women’s team is currently top of its league (six wins and one draw from seven matches played) before a final trip to Olympique de Marseille, currently runners-up, before the winter break. The women are also still in the running in the Coupe de France, where, after qualifying brilliantly against Valencia in the previous round (13-0 victory), they will travel to Nice in the round of 32.
François Keller, director of the Racing Mutest Academy, is also satisfied with the extension of the manager’s contract as head of the women’s team: “I am happy with Vincent’s choice to be a long-term contributor to the development of women’s football. It is proof of an attachment on his part to Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace and for my part the possibility of continuing to work with a coach whom the club had chosen to carry out this project”
