The « Racing eSports Live Show” is back!

After the success of the first edition in 2023, Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace, Hager Group and Crédit Agricole Alsace Vosges are organizing a new “Racing eSports Live Show”. The event will take place on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at the Forum of its main partner Hager Group. Present on site, the professional players from Racing eSports will face their counterparts from LOSC Lille eSports as part of the 9th round of eLigue 1 Uber Eats.

Faithful to its innovative spirit and building on the success of the first edition in 2023 with more than 1,000 participants, the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace is hosting its second “Racing eSports Live Show” this year in the forum of its major sponsor Hager Group in Obernai. Last year, with the involvement of several professional players from the club, influencers and amateur and professional gamers, the RCSA organized, for the very first time in France, an official eLigue 1 Uber Eats meeting in person and in public. On March 29, RCSA eSports won 2-1 against FC Girondins de Bordeaux eSports.

For the 2024 edition, which will be hosted by Saban, the club wants to go even further. The event will reach players of all ages, from a retro-gaming space to onereserved for families. On site, participants will be able to enjoy a Cosplay show and an autograph session with players from Racing’s professional squad. The club’s mobile shop will also be present throughout the event. At the end of the day, RCSA eSports will face LOSC Lille eSports in a gala match as part of the ninth round of eLigue 1 Uber Eats. This season, two high-level players are representing Racing’s eSports team: Yann Robin, aka “Cursorr” and Florian Maridat, nicknamed “Rayziaah.” Also of note is the exceptional presence of The Fairy Dina, Olympic champion and triple French champion of the video game Just Dance.

For the first time, this “Racing eSports Live Show” will be open to the general public. Gamers will be able to benefit from attractive pricing starting at €5 to attend the eLigue1 Uber Eats match and take advantage of the catering on offer and numerous activities. All ticket sales will allow the Femmes de Foot association to finance the purchase of complete console kits intended for Alsatian hospitals.

The Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace has been developing its work in eSports for several years, well aware of the democratization of this now essential discipline. First by organizing a first event at the Stade de la Meinau in 2018. This was then augmented by internalizing a professional eSports team which is participating in eLigue 1 Uber Eats for the fourth consecutive season. Historic sponsors (Hager Group, Adidas and Crédit Agricole Alsace Vosges) are supporting the club in the democratization of the practice of eSports, while strengthening their visibility among younger generations.
