After competing in the Sud Ladies Cup at the end of June, Mégane Hoeltzel will head to Costa Rica to take part in the U20 Women’s World Cup, which will take place from 10–28 August.
France U20s will soon begin their preparation for the competition. Les Bleuettes will be at the National Football Centre in Clairefontaine on Wednesday, 27 July for a week of training before flying to Central America a week later. Sonia Haziraj’s squad will play a friendly match against Ghana on Friday, 29 July at 16:00 CEST at the Ghana National Football Centre.
In Costa Rica, the French will face Nigeria, Canada and the Republic of South Korea in group C. They’ll also have to finish in one of the first two places in the group to reach the quarterfinals.
