“I am very happy with this extension of our partnership,” remarked Marc Keller, the President of RCSA. I have had a very strong friendship with the Mack family for a long time and I have a lot of admiration for what they have built and the way in which they have managed to maintain their traditions while becoming a global brand. The Mack family has always been keen to strengthen its ties with our region, where it is today a very important economic player. And there are also many Alsatians who work at Europa-Park. Furthermore, this partnership is perfectly in line with the way we conceive of a football match as an experience: a popular and friendly moment, festive and joyful, like what we can see in the Family Zone Europa-Park, which contributes greatly to the quality of the entertainment offered at each match at the Stade de la Meinau.”
With a consumer rating of 8/10, a number which has been increasing in recent years, entertainment remains the second-most successful category in the matchday experience at RCSA, and even obtained the highest score among the 20 Ligue 1 clubs for the 2022-2023 season, as revealed this year by a study carried out by the LFP and the Nielsen Institute.
“Europa-Park has always been keen to strengthen its links with the Alsatian region and its stakeholders. Sharing many common values with Strasboiurg, it was obvious that Europa-Park become involved, in particular to be a partner in creating convivial spaces dedicated to families, as well as the Family Tribune within the Stade de la Meinau. I am delighted to extend this collaboration until 2025. It is very important for Europa-Park to show our attachment to Alsace. As Honorary Consul of France, I wish to contribute to strengthening the links between France and Germany. Long live friendship! Go RCSA!,” says Michael Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park.
With 16 themed areas within Europa-Park with architecture, cuisine and vegetation representing different European regions, as well as 100 attractions including 13 rollercoasters and sumptuous shows and the Rulantica aquatic universe as well as 6 hotels rated four stars and aboce, Europa-Park Resort, located in Rust (Germany), just 50 km from Strasbourg, welcomes 6 million visitors each year and is the ideal place to have fun, escape and marvel.
Beyond the partnership that unites them, Europa-Park and Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace also embody the spirit og Franco-German friendship, materialized in particular by the U19 Strasbourg-Fribourg match and a number of events organized at the park for the benefit of invited associations by the “Femmes de Foot” group, which manages the social and community programs of RCSA.
