What a revelation! After a surprisingly quick return against Marseille from an injury suffered before half-time against Clermont, Dilane played five matches in December as a starter. He raised his level of play from the match in Brest (delayed from Matchday 12) by completing three of his four attempted dribbles and making nine recoveries (second best total of this match). Then, against Le Havre at La Meinau, it was our number 26 who delivered a beautiful cross (deflected in by the Le Havre defence) for Emanuel Emegha. Finally, he opened his goal account this season by scoring the first goal in Lorient (his first in Ligue 1 Uber Eats). He could even have improved his stats if his goal against Lille had not been disallowed for a borderline offside from Ângelo at the halfway line. What a reward for our young winger!
Lucas Perrin, author once again of some very convincing performances, and Emanuel Emegha, who scored his third goal of the season against Le Havre and was at the origin of Yoro’s own goal against Lille, complete the podium.
