After wins against Northern Ireland and Poland, France Women U19s ended the first round of the Euro 2023 qualifiers with a 1-0 win against the Republic of Ireland. Coming on in the 86th minute, our striker Pauline Haugou took part in the celebrations.
With three wins in as many games, Sandrine Ringler’s team easily finished top of their group. The draw for the second qualifying round will take place on Wednesday, 7 December at 11:00 CET. The 28 competing teams will be divided into seven groups of four, and the seven group winners will reach the main tournament in Belgium, which takes place from 18–23 July 2023.
