As part of her support for ARAME, an Alsatian association that has been working for more than 40 years to improve the lives of children with cancer and blood diseases, and in partnership with the Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace, Sabryna Keller, President of Femmes de Foot, visited the Hautepierre hospital to see the young patients there, along with Kevin Gameiro and Morgan Sanson.
Both being fathers, the Strasbourg players were very sensitive to this moment: “It brings us back to reality,” explains Kevin Gameiro, touched by their struggle. The children said some strong words to us, which had a big impact on me. They also encouraged us for the end of the season.” Morgan Sanson, who is also very sensitive to this type of operation, was equally moved: “These are special moments, very important for the children as well as for us. It makes you want to fight. They are going through a very difficult ordeal with a lot of courage and to be able to offer them a bit of happiness, maybe even a bit of hope, is wonderful.”
The visit ended with a friendly snack, and Sabryna Keller presented ARAME with a check for €10,000, which will be used to finance a trip to the snow, scheduled for the end of April for 14 children from the hospital and their companions. “And we also gave them an appointment for a match at the Meinau!“, said the President and founder of the Association Femmes de Foot, which, since its creation in 2017, has distributed more than a million euros on the Alsatian territory. “We fight every day to make the journey of these children less difficult and an afternoon like this is absolutely extraordinary for them. Thank you to Femmes de Foot and to the club!” concluded Professor Patrick Lutz, founder of ARAME.
