Mégane Hoeltzel and Manon Wahl perform well for France

Mégane Hoeltzel and Manon Wahl – players from Racing Women’s team – were called up for France Women’s Under-23s and Under-19s respectively. Different objectives with positives for both.

Manon Wahl in goal for France U23s

Selected for a friendly double-header against Belgium (1-0 loss in the first match, 1-0 win in the second), Manon Wahl lined up in goal for France Women U23s in the final encounter. A second start with the team ended with a clean sheet – a fine reward for our goalkeeper’s great season.

Mégane Hoeltzel qualifies for 2022 Euro Women’s Under-19 Championship with France

Mégane Hoeltzel traveled to the Czech Republic for the second round of qualifying for Euro 2022. France U19s finished top of their group with three wins in three matches (3-0 win against Greece; 3-0 win against the Republic of Ireland; 5-1 win against the Czech Republic), qualifying for the final phase of the Euros, which takes place from 27 June to 9 July in the Czech Republic.

Hoeltzel didn’t play in the first game against Greece, but our midfielder featured against the Republic of Ireland after 75 minutes, and against the Czech Republic in the final five minutes.
